Whitesnake at Cardiff Motorpoint Arena
A classic rock triple bill of Whitesnake, Thunder & Journey? You can imagine how excited I was! It took a while to get in due to a confusing security set up in which neither of the door staff knew what a photo pass was and refused to let me in with my gear! But I made it in the end for three awesome shows. I was especially pleased to see Doug Aldrich wearing his shiny trousers again! Chatted to some sweet people between sets, admired the efforts of a truly outstanding groupie and forgot my ear plugs but it was a pleasure to go home with Fool For Your Loving ringing in my head.
